Here at the Animal Place we are happy to provide your pet with a safe and friendly environment that they can enjoy while they board with us. We know that your pets would prefer to remain at home, but sometimes circumstances arise, which force you to board them. Therefore, while they stay with us, each pet is kept in a separate cage with a blanket, towel or rug for their comfort. For your dogs we provide three walks a day Monday-Saturday and two walks on Sunday. This allows your dog to get fresh air and a bit of excercise as well. Furthermore, we try to provide your cats with a stress-free environment by using soft lighting and by keeping them away from the barking dogs. Finally, music is also played in both the kennel area and cat ward.
In order to provide your pet with the safest environment, we require that all boarders have up-to-date vaccines while staying within the facility.
Canines must have up-to-date Rabies, Distemper/Hepatitis/Parvovirus, and Bordetella/Parainfluenza vaccines before boarding admittance.
Felines must have up-to-date Rabies and FVRCP vaccines before boarding admittance.
In addition to these vaccines, we also give boarders (dogs) a Capstar pill the day they come in and the day they leave. This pill kills all the fleas that the pet may bring in and/or leave with. Since fleas are an ongoing problem in this area we always recommend keeping your pet on frontline (flea/tick preventative) year-round.
**Boarding prices vary depending on the size and type of pet staying with us. Please call us for more information on prices and any additional questions or concerns. |
